Dr. Katie Kaufman
DOCTOR OF OPTOMETRY
Dr. Katie Kaufman, O.D. was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. After one year at Wichita State on a cheerleading scholarship she transferred to the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.
Dr. Kaufman graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She then completed a year of extensive internships at Sharp Eye Consultants in San Antonio, Lakeline Vision in Austin and the University Eye Institute in Houston before beginning her career in Austin, TX.
Dr. Kaufman is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and the Central Texas Optometric Society.
In her free time, Dr. Kaufman enjoys swimming, wakeboarding, reading, traveling, watching Longhorn football and spending time with her husband, Jonah, her children Maxwell & Caroline and two dogs Chance and Rylee.
Dr. Raeann Murray
DOCTOR OF OPTOMETRY
Dr. Raeann Murray, O.D. grew up in Seattle and moved to Pflugerville while in high school. She received her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Psychology and Biology.
Dr. Murray graduated from the University of California – Berkeley, School of Optometry and was elected to the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She completed year of internships including training with the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base 4th Medical Group in Goldsboro, NC and at the Raymond G. Murphy Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM but knew it was then time to return home to Texas.
Dr. Murray is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and an active member of the Central Texas Optometric Society, Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Murray enjoys playing with her dog, Stella, volunteering with the Junior League, traveling, and watching Texas sports.
